About The 2020 Hidden Heroes Gala

Each year, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department honors its officers for distinguishing themselves in the line of duty.  At this third annual Hidden Heroes Black & White Gala we again pay tribute to officers and
other employees who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to protect us and preserve
safety across Clark County but whose work we never or rarely see. Come and celebrate the many LVMPD Hidden Heroes who work to keep us safe every day.  These Hidden Heroes might not wear a badge, but their commitment to our community is Vegas Strong.

K-9 Unit

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department K9s are leaders in our city. They are local heroes, fiercely loyal, and have dedicated their lives to making our community safe.

Communications Bureau

While maintaining the highest standards of quality service, for our community and our colleagues, the Communications Bureau Team processes all requests for service quickly and efficiently, keeping public safety our goal.

When you dial 9-1-1, if you talk to police dispatch, or call the non-emergency number you will be speaking with these Hidden Heroes.
