Mardi Gras Auction & Parent's Night Out 2020

Mardi Gras 2020 - Live Auction - February 21, 2020

Join us for a fabulous evening of live art, dancing, & silent auction benefitting the Lincoln PTA, student activities, and more!

The Details:

When: February 21, 2020; doors open at 7:00 p.m.

Where: Abbington Banquets in Glen Ellyn

Tickets: $49 per person through February 14th; $59 per person after February 14th.

Cost of ticket includes: entrance to the auction, entertainment, and food. There will be no assigned seating. All Lincoln teachers are invited to join the event for free!

Attire: There is no formal dress code for our Mardi Gras auction. Wear jeans and beads or masks and sequins, whatever you feel most comfortable in!

Funds raised at the auction will be used to support Lincoln's assembles, field trips, educational experiences, and PTA events and programs - including the 60+ clubs available to Lincoln students.

Schedule of Events:

7-8:00 pm: Cocktail Hour with a New Orleans Jazz Band

8-8:30 pm: Live Art Show

7-10 pm: Silent Auction Bidding

8:30-11:00 pm: DJ and dancing

What's in store for Mardi Gras 2020:

• Live Art show: Watch as art comes alive before your eyes in this explosion of music and color. Live Art International creates a fun, one-of-kind experience for both the artist and audience. During the 30-minute performance, the artist will create two amazing canvas pieces, followed by a live bidding for each piece.
• Auction: In a silent auction format, bid on items such as Chicago Cub's tickets, Chicago Bulls tickets, a night out at your favorite Glen Ellyn restaurant, cooking classes at Marcel's or a Lincoln teacher experience.
• Musical Entertainment: Start the night off with a New Orleans Jazz Band and end the night with the musical stylings of Ready Set Dance Entertainment!
• Social PixPod Photobooth: Show off your masks when you step into the PixPod. Upload pics in real-time to social media or receive the images immediately via text message. 
• Lincoln Wine Glasses: During the cocktail hour, nab a Lincoln-themed wine glass to fill with your drink of choice at the cash bar. Wine glasses are $5 each; they're also available in a set of four.  
• Food and Drink: Enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour, followed by a late-night taco bar. A cash bar is available all night.
