Made with the same techniques during the reign of King George V featuring only whiskies from distilleries operating during that era including the Port Ellen Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky from a distillery no longer existence and whose preserved stock is expensive due to its scarcity.

It is an opulent and regal blend. Sensuous, layered and intense, the John Walker & Sons King George V is a kaleidoscope of flavors and aromas. Hints of roasted nuts, dark chocolate and an imposing sweet smokiness combine elegantly with suggestions of honey, citrus orange and rose petals. This is an extremely complex luxury whisky.

Johnnie Walker King George V Blended Scotch Whisky has a rich, spicy aroma with hints of Christmas pudding, brandy butter and vanilla. Slightly nutty too, with notes of ground almond and blossom. It's taste is a fruity, creamy palate entry. Creamy notes of caramel, manuka honey and a hint of very refined wood smoke. Allspice and nutmeg develop. It has a nutty finish with a surge of salt caramel and biscuity malt.

Enjoy it in any way you like, but it is recommended neat. Pour a 1.5 oz measure into a bespoke snifter glass. Accompany with a tumbler of iced water. Freshen your palate with the water between sips to unlock the full experience.
