Mrs. Shwartz, our lovely librarian, is kindly donating a honey bee basket that includes locally sourced honey from her beehives as well as other products from the hive, and a couple of bee books.

HIVE VISIT: This also includes an invitation to accompany Mr. Shwartz as he inspects a hive in Greenwich. This can be for kids or adults. (This would have to happen in late April or May when the bees are active. It's too cold for them in March.)

Seeing what goes on in a hive is a fascinating glimpse into the amazing society of honey bees.
