"I have been writing (my moniker) "LEAF" for 15 years. LEAF is all about style and being well-versed in various schools of graffiti lettering: bombing, blackbook, hand style, and wildstyle, among others. My lettering is influenced by 90s colors and west coast latino style. I combine these lettering styles with bio-mechanical art. Bio-mechanical art was invented by the late great H.R. Geiger and was perfected for tattooing by Guy Aitchison. He took the style and made it more organic and colorful than Geiger's work, and many have since done the same. It is with the influence of this bio-mech style coupled with the rendering of LEAF piecing where the name "LEAFMECH" is derived. It has taken me years to develop and combine all these elements into one form, that art is LEAFMECH.

"I currently work and reside in Wilmington, North Carolina, where I own and operate my tattoo parlor/artist collective, Anvil & Ink. Anvil & Ink has been open since 2012 and continues to provide quality custom artwork at affordable prices to our community to this day! I also work with many other well-known artists and travel up and down the east coast creating murals, vending festivals, and displaying my paintings in galleries."
