"My choice of work for the last 20 years was driven by the desire to balance working outside the home and raising my two children, Jewel and Paul. Teaching best suited this goal. I rekindled my passion for Photography in 2011 after Jewel and Paul made my husband, Tim, and I, Empty Nesters. I was given my first DSLR as a Christmas gift and received unique, hands-on photography training under Brian Osborne at The Photo Classroom, Charlotte, NC. After completing my study, I joined The Professional Photography group as an intern and advanced to Associate Team Member under the owner, Brian Osborne's, direction. My experience includes photographing the following: Professional and NCAA sports teams, Golf Courses, theatre productions, events, and teaching photography. In March 2018 Tim and I relocated to Fort Bend County, just outside of Houston, TX. I was unable to find the same unique, hands-on learning experiences I had in Charlotte, which resulted in my decision to start The Photographer's Learning Studio. I can now combine my twenty years of teaching experience with my passion for Photography. The Studio specializes in teaching students how to get the most out of their digital cameras. We offer classes, workshops, photography trips, and individual instruction to meet needs of students, regardless of experience or background in photography. The Photographer's Learning Studio makes its home in the Fort Bend Art Center, in Rosenberg, TX."
