Mixed Media All School Collaborative Collage

Collaborative artwork entitled "My Guardian Dear" by the students of SLS and artist Victoria Disalvo.

The children of the ECC contributed to the design by deconstructing scraps of tissue paper. The paper was applied throughout the painting to provide texture and depth.

The students of 1st - 8th grade created their own art using acrylic on paper that were distributed throughout the painting to create the final image.

Every student then signed the back of the canvas, as their hard work came together to create a beautiful design. The final piece was then blessed by Fr. Jolly. Dimensions are 36" x 48".

To make this painting extra special, students who have a parent that works at FedEx used the colors of purple and orange for their fingerprint throughout the painting and on the airplane.
