GLA 7th Annual Golf Outing

Twelve years ago, Global Leadership Academy (GLA) Charter School opened its doors to provide a high quality educational option to children throughout the City of Philadelphia. The kindergarten through eighth grade school was also created to "prepare the future leaders of the world" through an international and expeditionary curriculum.

Now in 2019, the school is located on two campuses in West and Southwest Philadelphia and serves over 1,300 children. GLA students are referred to as scholars to convey high expectations for the aptitude of study. The international and expeditionary-based components of the school's highly successful academic curriculum have earned Global Leadership Academy a reputation for transforming the lives of its scholars. As such, it has become one of the most sought-after public charter schools in the School District of Philadelphia.

Our school offers its student scholars a pathway to success and opportunities to experience the world beyond their neighborhood through educational travel to local, state, national and international historic and cultural sites through our Global Expeditions Program. Our goal at GLA is to have our students think globally, but act locally - through volunteerism and service to the community. Your participation in this event will positively impact the future of these young scholars.

Our seventh annual Golf Outing, will take place on Thursday, October 3rd, 2019. at former NFL Player Ron Jaworki's Ramblewood Country Club located at 200 Country Club Parkway, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. We are very excited to host this year's outing at Mr. Jaworski's golf club and sincerely hope that you will contribute to the event and join us for a fantastic day of golf and fun.
