Epilepsy medications are crucial to the control of seizures for many patients, though they can be quite costly - even with insurance. EFGA has an assistance program to aid patients in covering a 30 day supply of their epilepsy medications. Sometimes these medicines can cost over $1000, just for a 30 day supply.

This is where EFGA's Medication Assistance Program comes in providing no questions asked, though temporary, solution. EFGA will provide payment for the epilepsy medication, directly to the pharmacy, typically within one day. EFGA's program is meant to serve as a bridge, patients can only receive the service once annually. Our staff will assist patients in finding a long-term patient assistance program, but often times the need for the medicine is urgent. For some, the delay of even an hour in doses can trigger a seizure.
