THE BLUE TIGER EMERGENCY FUND is our lifeline to directly support students in need throughout the
year. Alumni, alumni chapters, parents, friends, faculty, staff and community supporters can provide limited
financial assistance to currently enrolled Lincoln University students who are unable to meet immediate,
essential expenses due to a temporary or unexpected hardship. Lincoln University has expanded the fund to
bridge the gap for students impacted by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) right now. We find ourselves in
unprecedented times which calls for unprecedented philanthropic support. Our students need you.

EMERGENCY FUNDING will provide assistance to students on campus who have no home to return to or
are unable to travel home during the COVID-19 crisis. Funding may be used for personal care items, food
and snacks not provided by the cafeteria, prescriptions, medical or mental health needs, and other unforeseen
costs. Consideration to assist off-campus students who have food insecurity needs can be considered if there
are available funds.

Other types of Blue Tiger Emergency Fund Expenses:

  • Books or school related expenses;
  • Technology;
  • Replacement of belongings lost in a fire or natural disaster;
  • Safety-related needs;
  • To fund travel or transportation of a student or a student's belongings home due to a family emergency, crisis or death.

Qualifying students applying to the Blue Tiger Emergency Fund must have a financial hardship resulting from
an emergency, accident or other critical incident.
