About the Work

Afromation Avenue is a collection of curated positive affirmation street signs meant to uplift the community conceived of by two Philadelphia-based school teachers. This project is now a permanent fixture in West Philadelphia, specifically on the 52nd Street corridor, Malcolm X Park, and Laura Sims Skate House In Cobbs Creek Park.
