Mother Lode Adventist Junior Academy is a not-for profit private Christian school serving grades K-10 located in Sonora, CA.

During Spring Break of 2020, MLAJA will send a team of thirty 7-10th grade students, in addition to sponsors, to Peru to build a cement block structure to support the needs of a church near Lima. In addition, the team will provide dental and medical clinics, as well as a children's Bible and health education outreach program. The team is working in cooperation with Maranatha Volunteers International.

The cost is $1,600 per volunteer.
