As much as I hate this fly, this is probably one of the top nymphs guides resort to here in Western Montana, especially during spring runoff. I might say it's the "guidiest" guide fly out there, The dry equivalents would be the Chubby Chernobyl and the Purple Haze. I have a love hate relationship with all of them. The piece is framed with museum quality glass. The piece is painted by brush in ink on Strathmore 300 paper. Its custom framed in a double matte with a double window for the painting and the fly (also tied by me).

A Limited Edition Fine Art Print of one of Vaughn Cochran's most famous paintings of his early marine art work. Tarpon Daisy Chain was painted from Vaughn's early days as a fly fishing guide in Key West. The print image size is 20" x 14" with a 2 1/2" white border on archival paper.
