We are thrilled to have you join us at The 14th Annual Lemon Ball on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the Marriott Philadelphia Downtown!
Don't compare this to any other charity gala you have attended. Come see for yourself why The Lemon Ball isn't your typical gala. From the yellow ties to the beautiful lemon décor, the special night is all about making a huge impact for kids fighting cancer. Everything kicks off with a cocktail reception where guests can bid on auction items sure to leave attendees awestruck. The evening continues with a gourmet meal, stories and interviews with childhood cancer families, speeches honoring Alex Scott's legacy and a thrilling live auction. It all concludes with guests dancing the night away to Deja Blue.
The Alex Scott Crystal Cup Award will be presented to Power Home Remodeling, National Sponsor, for their commitment to continuing Alex's mission to fight childhood cancer, one cup at a time.
The Childhood Cancer Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to David Poplack, MD, Director of Global HOPE (Hematology Oncology Pediatric Excellence) at Texas Children's Cancer Center, for his outstanding work and commitment to pediatric oncology.
About Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of 4-year-old Alexandra "Alex" Scott, who was fighting cancer and wanted to raise money to find cures for all children with cancer. Her spirit and determination inspired others to support her cause, and when she passed away at the age of 8, she had raised $1 million. Since then, the Foundation bearing her name has evolved into a national fundraising movement. Today, ALSF is one of the leading funders of pediatric cancer research in the U.S. and Canada having raised more than $150 million so far, funding nearly 1,000 research projects and providing programs to families affected by childhood cancer.
