The mission of PathWays PA is to help homeless and low-income women, teens, children and families achieve economic independence and family well-being.
Founded in 1978, PathWays PA serves over 4,500 women, children and families each year to successfully help them break the cycle of poverty, homelessness and abuse.
Operating three shelters in the Philadelphia region, PathWays PA houses adolescent girls, mothers and their children. For the families we serve, our shelters provide an opportunity for a stable and supportive home environment. This compassionate, client-centered focus is significant in beginning the healing from physical, sexual and emotional abuse experienced by many of our families.
Working with the most at-risk populations, PathWays PA provides comprehensive services that include short-term and long-term shelter, job training and employment assistance.
