Gala Details For A Seamless Night:

The Basics

• What: Emancipet's 20th Anniversary Gala

• 5:30 PM Cocktail Receptions, Silent Auction, and Registration
• 6:30 PM Gala Dinner & Silent Auction
• 8:30 PM The After Party with Alejandro Escovedo & DJ Girlfriend ATX

Pre-Register Online in Advance!

Pre-registering before you get to The LINE Austin on Saturday can move you through the check-in process faster. Basically, if you're a fan of TSA Precheck, you'll love this. Here's how you can do it.

• Click the orange "Sign In" button in the top right hand corner of this page
• If you were at Emancipet's luncheon in May and are using the same info, you may already be registered - if so, your user name and password may populate the fields and you can just update your information as needed.   
• Enter your credit card to help speed things up once you arrive at The LINE Austin.
• Add your cell number - that way, we can send you any final details, as well as, updates throughout the evening and right after the event. (After that, no more texts - we promise!)

The After Party 

The After Party featuring Alejandro Escovedo and Girlfriend ATX will follow the Gala Dinner. 

Here's how to tell if you have After Party tickets: You'll have a wristband in your registration packet after you check in!

If you don't have tickets and want to attend, no worries - you can still get tickets at the door following the dinner.

Getting to The LINE Austin

Please note that the entrance to The LINE Austin hotel is very close to Congress Avenue. We recommend getting on to E Cesar Chavez either from:

• The Ann Richards bridge on South Congress (northbound traffic)
• Cesar Chavez from the west (approaching Congress Avenue)
• South on Congress Ave (southbound from 2nd Street)

GPS often tells drivers coming from north Austin to turn from I-35 onto Cesar Chavez. But it's next to impossible to turn into the hotel from eastbound Cesar Chavez. 

Parking

The LINE Austin offers valet parking only - no self-parking. Our guests get a discounted rate of $8 per car. So mention that you're attending the Emancipet event.

The Menu

The menu for the evening has a vegan/gluten-free salad and entrée and two vegan dessert options, and wine service will be available at your table. Please let your server know if you would like a gluten-free dessert or an entrée without almonds.

The Silent Auction is now ready for prime time! Just click "View Items" at the top of this page. So give it a look and get ready to bid!

The auction will be in the Onyx Ballroom so please feel free to browse during the Opening Reception.
