Covenant Prep provides young men from underserved communities the foundation required to successfully pursue higher education, to develop the strength of their character and to inspire them to live with integrity as leaders committed to their communities.
We believe that all children deserve a quality, academically rigorous education in a safe caring environment. Covenant Preparatory School endeavors to provide this to middle school boys from underserved communities, in a tuition-free preparatory school environment. This education includes an extended school day, a mandatory Summer Academy, and Graduate Support to ensure that our scholars have the foundation for academic and social success. We work to instill five integral Core Values: Integrity, Respect, Gratitude, Motivation, and Community to help these young men achieve their greatest individual potential for a long legacy of positive impact. We hope to continue this work for many years into the future.
On average, it costs about $20,000 a year to educate a Covenant Prep scholar through the academic year, including extended days, and mandatory Summer Academy-about the same as it costs an urban public school system in Connecticut to educate a student for just the academic year. However, Covenant Prep provides over 650 additional hours of academics and offers over 30 enrichment programs through its Extended Day and Summer Academy, ensuring that our students receive the best education and experience possible.
Our scholars are successful: 100% of our graduates thus far have completed high school, and all have completed or are attending college, or are serving our country in the military. Many have completed professional internships, and are deeply involved in giving back to our community. We could not be prouder of them and are blinded by the brightness of their futures.
