How to Bid with Mobile Bidding

We will utilize mobile bidding during An Evening in the Roaring 20's! To place a bid, you will need to pre-register online or with a bidding assistant the evening of the event. All silent auction bidding at the event will be conducted using a mobile platform.

From the Mobile Bidding Center, you can place your bid on a selected item, with the option of setting a maximum bid and you will be notified on your smartphone if you have been outbid.

Don't worry - bidding attendants and staff will be in place throughout the evening to assist with the bidding process, should you have any questions. Please feel free to contact Jill Mann at if you have any questions beforehand.

We look forward to seeing you at An Evening in the Roaring 20's, and don't forget to bring your charged phone!

How it works:

  • At the top of the page, click "Register to Participate" - this will allow you to view and bid on items. By pre-registering online, you will streamline your bidding experience on the night of the event.
  • Browse the Silent Auction and choose from the many great items you would like to bid on.
  • Place your bid, with the option of setting a maximum bid. The system can automatically bid up to a designated amount for you. The system will bid incrementally up to this amount for you, as long as someone bids against you.
  • You will be notified on your smartphone if you have been outbid.

After checking in at registration, click the blue link in the welcome text sent to you. You'll first be prompted to enter your email address and then you'll be directed to your personal bidding profile. Click on an item you would like to bid on. The GiveSmart system pre-populates with the next minimum bid so all you have to do is push "Bid." If you'd like to go higher just enter a new amount. To have the GiveSmart system automatically bid for you to a designated amount, please select "AUTO BID" and enter a higher amount. The system will bid for you incrementally up until your designated amount, only if someone bids against you.

Bid via TEXT

To see the current bid, reply to your welcome text and simply type the 3-digit item number.

Example: "102," then hit send. Then, text the 3-digit item number and amount you would like to bid. No dollar signs ($) needed. Example: "102 300," then hit send. You placed a $300 bid on item number 102.
