Norah, Age 8 - I wish to go to Hawaii!
After having her wish granted last summer, Norah graciously offered to share her incredible painting skills with us and donated this awesome piece!
"My inspiration for my whale painting is because I wanted to go to Hawaii to see whales. When I was really sick I would watch whale videos on YouTube and think about what it would be like to see one in the wild. My idea for my picture just came from my mind. I just wanted my picture to be colorful with the whale. I wanted him to be colorful."
Julianne, Age 16 - I wish to go to Germany!
This beautiful original painting was created by Julianne, whose wish was granted last summer! Julianne used acrylic paints to create her piece and was inspired by the movie Up! Thank you for sharing your incredible artistic talents, Julianne!
This beautiful acrylic pouring was created by former wish kid Rima, whose wish to go to Hawaii was granted in 2001. Now a Make-A-Wish volunteer, Rima's story shows the lasting impact of a wish. This beautiful canvas Rima created was inspired by the sunsets in Maui. When asked about her wish, Rima shared "it was the most magical week...This trip meant so much to me and my family. It was amazing to go somewhere I had never been and do so many fun things in a week. It made me feel 'normal' and not a kid who gets sick. I often think about my wish and the whole trip and how special it was."

Wish Kid Lillian, age 15, is currently waiting for her awesome wish to meet Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor! While she waits, she has been kind enough to design this gorgeous Kendra Scott necklace to share with our Make-A-Wish supporters! Lillian spent time in the store with the Kendra Scott team and carefully crafted this piece with her favorite color - turquoise - in mind! Lillian has a resume full of hobbies like hiking, reading historical fiction and running track, but we'd say she should definitely add "professional jewelry designing" to her list! Thank you, Lillian!
