Dancing with the Local Stars - Naples is an exciting new fundraiser for Humane Society Naples (HSN). Based off of the 'Dancing with the Stars' TV show, this event features local celebrities, our "Stars", in a dance face-off on the event night.

Our Stars comprise of successful executives, entrepreneurs, chefs, doctors, top sales agents, media professionals and social & community leaders who in their unassuming ways have created a mark in our community and beyond. They will raise funds and awareness for HSN.

All net proceeds from the event will go towards HSN. HSN is an independent nonprofit serving the public by providing care, shelter and placement into loving homes for orphaned animals in the Collier County area through pet adoptions. HSN never places a time limit on how long dogs, cats and other pets stay at our shelter. They are supported solely by private donations.

Our Mission:
Sheltering animals in times of need, locating lifelong homes, and advocating for responsible pet ownership.

What We Do:
In addition to our shelter and adoption functions, Humane Society Naples provides numerous outreach programs at schools and businesses to promote responsible pet ownership, including pet sterilization. We believe spaying and neutering are the best ways to reduce the pet overpopulation. Our HSN Veterinary Clinic offers a low or no-cost pet sterilization for low-income pet parents. Additionally, every pet that is adopted at HSN does not leave the adoption center until it is spayed or neutered.

In 2018, our shelter rescued and adopted 2,871 pets into forever, loving homes! In 2019, our shelter program goal is to provide rescue, shelter and adoption services to more than 3,000 orphaned pets in our community. HSN partners with animal control agencies in our service area and reviews monthly statistics to determine how we can work collaboratively to continue to reduce unnecessary euthanasia of adoptable pets in SWFL.
