Q: How much are tickets?

A: General admission is $75 (Patron Level); Reserved seating is $150 (Benefactor Level)

 

Q: What is the Minnehaha Spectacular?

A: The Spectacular is the Annual Gala and Auction fundraiser to raise money to support the people and programs that make Minnehaha great!

 

Q: What does the theme "Revival" mean?

A. This year's theme combines fun and faith.  A church picnic-style atmosphere with delicious food, "old-timey" music and lots of time to mingle and socialize.  It is also a "revival" of our school's distinctively Christian mission, paying tribute to the founders, faculty, alumni and trustees who have paved the way. 

 

Q: What is the dress code?

A. Unofficially, the dress code is "Sunday Best".  Whether you attend services in blue jeans, a suit & tie or a picture hat, just come as yourself, ready to have fun!  Looking for ideas?  Try our Pinterest Page.

 

Q: Why aren't there assigned seats this year?

A. To allow more people to attend, our event leadership is trying a more open floor plan.  There are 20 reserved seats available at the Benefactor Level, with low & high top tables and theater style seating for all other attendees.  If you can't find a seat, a volunteer will find one for you!

 

Q: What's on the menu?

A: The Chef at Town & Country club is preparing a picnic & bbq style menu which may include fried chicken, bbq pork, potato salad and other salads and icebox cake or pie for dessert.  Pie will also be available to take home!

 

Q: How much are we trying to raise this year?

A: This year's goal is $225,000, an increase of $100,000 over last year's.  This amount was normally raised by the Arena Sale.

 

Q: If I cannot attend the Spectacular, can I still participate?

A. Absolutely!  1) Sign up to bid on the Silent Auction 2) Donate an item (see below) 3) Make a Fund-A- Need gift or Sponsorship 4) "Like" or "Share" this page or the event on the Minnehaha Academy Facebook page. 

 

Q: How do I donate an Auction Item?

A. We are looking for the following items for this year's Auction.  Please contact Shannon at (612) 172-7721

  • Concert and Major League sports tickets
  • Signed sports memorabilia
  • Private Country Club Experiences - golf, tennis, other
  • Upscale Restaurant gift certificates or Brewery Tours
  • Group Dinner Parties (more than one bidder)
  • Travel & Cabin getaways
  • Parent/Child "Date" experiences - paintball, puzzle rooms, theme parks
  • New/Unused luxury apparel or health/beauty/grooming items
