Private Flight to Grand Rapids, Michigan and Brewery Tour for Four People!
Are you a beer buff? An ale enthusiast? An IPA aficionado? With thirty-seven breweries in the immediate city, Grand Rapids, Michigan was rated the #2 beer city in the country for 2019 and #3 for 2020 according to USA Today.
Up to four passengers (900 lb. limit) will take a short one-hour and twenty-minute flight in a Piper Cherokee Six flown by Rick Sparke, a Southwest Airlines 737 Captain, from Brookeridge Airport in Downers Grove to the Grand Rapids airport. Upon arrival, transportation will be provided to downtown Grand Rapids where the winners will go on a four-hour brewery tour.
Grand Rapids Beer Tours will take you to three of the many breweries located in the downtown area. Each of these stops will include a flight of beers for each person. At one of the stops an additional guided tour of the brewery will be provided. There will be an opportunity to buy lunch at one of the stops along the tour with complimentary water and light snacks provided on the tour bus.
At the conclusion of the four-hour tour, guests will be able to spend another two hours downtown to explore the city and stop into some of the other breweries not on the tour. You will then head back to Grand Rapids Airport for the flight to arrive back at Brookeridge Airport that evening.
The date of the trip is to be agreed upon between the winning bidder and Rick Sparke. The event should be scheduled sometime between May and September of 2021. Expanding the trip to an overnight trip is optional (hotel room at winning bidders' expense).
Special thanks to Rick Sparke.
Bidding closes at 8pm on Thursday. March 4th.
