"What the hand does, the mind remembers." Children's decorated hands formed in metal join garden tools for a whimsical wind chime created with the help of Paul Ihle. The piece includes this Montessori quote and M logo.
Map of the United States mounted on wood by Lower Elementary II. First and second year students researched, cut out and labeled each of the 50 states. Third year students placed the states together to form a more perfect union.

The making of this piece was a profound experience for Middle School students, teachers and Charly, during which they explored and discovered the meaning of truth. The original will remain at the Middle School and a companion piece will be created next year.

A phenomenal all-school photo collage piece to be printed on 20 x 20 glass like acrylic. The image is a mosaic of more than 100 photos of individual students taken in front of our massive wings created the Middle School by photographer Chad Cordell. Those images came together to create a singular dramatic bird in flight piece representing the theme for the 2018-19 MMS school year, "Spreading Our Wings.
