DAM: Oaks Onita 5001
This year's fall born heifer sale features our top ET calves. Most of these calves are sired by BR Belle Air 6011, who needs no introduction. Several full sisters to Lot 1 sell. They are out of Oaks Onita 5001. Onita made her way to the show ring only once for Shelby's last NJHE in Wisconsin in 2016, where she won her class. We are very pleased with the results of this mating. 8089 is long and extended through her front 1/3. She is level over her top, smooth shouldered with the necessary rib and belly. She moves well, and covers her track with flex in her rear leg. She will excel when she finishes her show career and moves to the donor pen.

Ophelia is very similar to her Lot 1 sister. Everything mentioned about Lot 1 could be repeated for Lot 2. 8090, may be a little sharper through her neck and head, which we appreciate. She is level through her topline and carries that into her hip. Like all these sisters, she is bold and powerful, with a balance of bone and foot in a soft moving package.

Massive, bold, powerful and soggy is how I would describe the last September born sister. If those are the traits you are looking for, this is the female for you. I really like this heifer. She will be an outstanding calf raiser when she goes into production.

This is the only October born sister to Lot 1,2,and 3 in this sale. And boy does she catch your attention. Flashy, while still powerful. With rib, belly and muscle all in a beautiful package. This is one of Cindy's favorite heifers in the sale. We appreciate the length and extension through her front 1/3 and the set to her neck. She has balance, substance of bone and foot size that match her look and style.

Here we offer something a little different as far as pedigree. This Times A Wastin heifer would be a ¾ sister to Sweet Tart and Skittles. 8103 has become one of my favorite heifers in the sale. She is the heifer that has excelled the most since weaning. This heifer is big topped, big middle and carries that into a huge belly. She has an attractive show ring look that will catch everyone's eye. She's balanced and bold through her heart. Don't overlook this one.

The first November born heifer in the sale is the result of embryos purchased from Coyler Herefords. We like this heifer, as she has a strong pedigree backing her up with Ribeye 88X, 719T, Lambeau 17Y plus outstanding EPDs. As well, she is an attractive female with extension and length, rib, belly in a well-balanced package. She, no doubt will make a fault free female in production.

This 5001 daughter offers a little change, being sired by CRR 109 On Point 559 ET. She still possesses many of the same quality traits. Long and extended through her front end, level over the top, smooth shouldered, and bold through her heart, while standing on adequate foot and bone.

DAM: Oaks Skittles 4080 ET
Lot 9, 10, 11 are full sisters out of Oaks Skittles 4080 ET. Lot 9 and 10 are November horned females. Gentle is the first word to describe 8115. Next, I really appreciate the quality to this heifer. She is extended and bold with just enough power. Big bellied and soggy for such a young female. The Skittles females we sold last year, have all done well on the show circuit this past season. This one will be competitive this summer and next fall showing in the calf division.

Lemon Berry is also a November horned female out of Belle Air and Skittles. This dark red female jumps out at you and is one of the favorites of the visitors that have looked at this set of heifers. I appreciate her length and extension and the set to her neck. She is level topped and has a powerful hip and big belly. She moves well off her rear leg. She will also be competitive showing in the fall heifer calf division.

The youngest and greenest heifer in the sale, is a polled sister to Lot 9 and 10. We appreciate this heifer for her age. 8120 has the look and attractiveness to show. She is smooth in her appearance while still having power and spring of rib. Don't miss this heifer. While she may not be as far along as some of the others, time will rectify that issue.
