Allen James joined the Rho Chapter in 1965 and served on the Grand Council and Foundation Board of Trustees as President. Because of his leadership and perseverance, Delta Sig experienced tremendous growth in the 1980s all over the country. Upon Allen's retirement, the Grand Council named the Outstanding Undergraduate Award in his honor. Today that award is given to one undergraduate each year and is called the E.
