Decatur Glassblowing Date Night

This is a two person 90 minute private session, meaning one instructor and workspace per party of two. This hot-glass learning experience will start by going over safety, tools, and equipment. The instructor will then demonstrate how to make one of the items you have chosen. Following the demonstration, you will go through the steps one-on-one with the instructor to create your own piece. There will be a variety of colors available to choose from when making your items. Items made will vary by time and ability. We do our best to cater private classes to the student's preference and skill level. Typically, the student will be able to work through one flower each and one ornament each in this session (4 pieces total).

Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre presents an evening of neo-classical ballet inspired by the legends of Greek mythology. An Atlanta premiere, Under the Olive Tree first premiered with New Orleans Ballet Theater in 2016. Called "stark", "striking", and "sensual" by the Miami Herald, Tara Lee's fluid choreography captures the personalities of the Greek gods and goddesses and their fated stories. Horizons by Heath Gill premiered at Terminus' outdoor performance home, Serenbe, and will be uniquely adapted for a traditional indoor theater. The dance work is inspired by the tale of Icarus and the "dramatic and gorgeous" lighting complements Gill's storytelling and athletic movement style.
