You can still participate in the auction!Come to where extravagance and opulence meet irreverence and joy. Come heed the sirens' song!
Location: Queensview Steakhouse at Parker's Lighthouse
435 Shoreline Village Dr.
Long Beach, CA 90802
Time: 6pm - 10pm
Attire: Creative cocktail attire inspired by the sea, including tones of blue, green, silver, and white.
Imagine an island where everyone is dressed in their most spectacular attire, feasting on a truly decadent meal of lobster and steak and listening to the most exquisite music sung by true sirens of the sea. What else could you want on this island? How about laughter!
Instead of feeling buttoned in by the formality of the evening, you will be encouraged to enjoy the humor and irreverence of a "Dishonoring" (this is an UnGala after all). The Dishonoree in question is businessman, philanthropist and long-time LBO supporter Dennis Poulsen, whose good friend Jerry Schubel, the President and C.E.O. of the Aquarium of the Pacific, will roast Dennis with panache and affection.
Surprise performers will appear throughout the evening, as you make your way through the four-course, five-star meal created for the event by the master chef at the Queensview Steakhouse. Additionally, you will be offered a selection of stunning live auction items that relate to the sea, and will be able to participate in an online-only silent auction directly from your phone or from available iPads.
Interested in featuring someone or your business in our UnGala programs? Be sure to check out our press packages! Please email artwork and messages to [email protected] by Friday, October 4th.
