Aspen Flying Club's Aviation 101 Program aimed at anyone who believes they'd like to pursue a pilot's license.
The package includes a six-week or eight-week ground school course that establishes a solid foundation by imparting aviation theory.
Once the course is complete, students take their first 45-minute "The Future Pilot" flight lesson, putting what they have learned to use in the cockpit as they experience the thrill of flight.
Ground school takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Centennial Airport, or Monday and Thursday evenings at Rocky Mountain Metro Airport, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
