A Bridge to Recovery and Resurgence...
The story of Recovery Ministry on Enders Island began in 1967 when Father Joe Waite came to the Island and met with his sponsor. Since then, thousands of men and women of diverse economic, social, ethnic, and religious backgrounds have participated in 12-Step programs at Enders Island. The Recovery Residence at Enders Island, open to all faiths and denominations, provides a post-treatment residential experience for young men trapped within the thralls of addiction. The Recovery Residence is available for college-aged men who are between the ages of 18 to 25. Student residency is between three to twelve months, with a three-month minimum commitment. All funds raised through this event are designated to the Recovery Endowment Fund in order to provide scholarship for our students.
