Susan Wornick

For over two decades, Emmy-award winning Susan Wornick anchored Boston's top-rated Noon news broadcast at WCVB Channel 5 - while also serving as NewsCenter 5's consumer reporter. She stepped down from the anchor desk in 2014, but continues to spend a tremendous amount of time volunteering with many notable charities. Susan is steadfast in continuing her lifelong passion of helping others and serving as a trusted advocate to those who need a voice to help tell their story.

Legislative Advocacy Award

The Honorable Aaron Michlewitz
Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee

First elected to the Massachusetts House of Representatives in 2009, Aaron Michlewitz represents the Third Suffolk District. In February 2019, Aaron was named the Chair of the House Ways and Means Committee where he will continue to focus on issues the Third Suffolk District face while also working to form the Commonwealth's budget.

 

Community Advocacy Award

Catherine Dunham

Former Senior Advisor, Preservation of Affordable Housing

Catherine Dunham served as Preservation of Affordable Housing's (POAH) Vice President, Community Improvement and Director of POAH Fund, helping to develop and implement an expanded Strategy for making POAH's housing a "platform for success" for residents. In prior positions, she was the Executive Director of the Children's Dental Health Project and the President and Founder of The Access Project.

Event Parking

Valet parking is available at the Mandarin for $40, but there is not a self-park option at the hotel. If you don't wish to valet your car, there are several public garages in the area. The closest garage is the Prudential Center Garage with entrances on Huntington Ave. and Exeter Street.
