Paw Pad$700 FMV $10,000
With the idea in mind of a clean classic design with contemporary expression, the home designed for our 4-legged friends reflects how dynamic and important they are for us. Using five simple planes, we enclose and define the basic floor, walls and roof in various angles that play with perspective to make the inside space more open and inviting. Hardwoods and glass define the inside space. These two materials flow through the length of the structure, segmenting the planes and creating a layer of detail that is simple yet allows the shape to be expressive. Dimensions: 5' x 5' x 5'

INBETWEEN$450 FMV $22,250
Merging the traditional doghouse with sculpture, INBETWEEN began as a cubic mass that was then carved, sliced, and whittled down using the proportions and positions of dogs as a datum for the sculptural void, the in between space. Through this method of sculpting space, INBETWEEN becomes perceived as either a cubic mass or dissolving, partly or completely, into the landscape. Locally sourced cedar is used for structure and skin, preserved through a charcoal and clear seal process forming a protective layer, and joined into the cubic mass. Strategic carving and slicing allow INBETWEEN to breathe while simultaneously providing shade, creating a comfortable and tranquil space for all dogs seeking an escape from the Texas heat. Dimensions: 5' x 5' x 5'
Four Green Gables$600 FMV $2,500
Almost as old as the act of building itself, the gable has become the quintessential roof form for "home" around the world. A gable roof's triangular silhouette is not only delightfully symmetrical, but also serve the important purpose of shedding away rain efficiently. This entry features a cross-gabled roof set upon a sturdy platform with legs, a spacious wood-decked interior, and generous natural ventilation. It recalls the comforting shape of home and celebrates the craft of old-fashioned carpentry. Dimensions: 5' x 5' x 5'
Hound in the House$300 FMV $4,435
