Biography

Kathy Marsh Riedinger lives and paints in Sun Valley, Idaho and Denver, CO. She has studied extensively with Jill Carver, Skip Whitcomb, Kathryn Stats, Michael Lynch, G. Russell Case, Quang Ho and many other great artists/teachers. In 2009, Kathryn's family moved to Paris and traveled extensively, visiting many museums all over Europe and studying the great works of art. This experience changed the direction and focus of Kathryn's art to a more impressionistic style. In 2014, Kathryn teamed up with Wood River Fine Arts to organize advanced painting workshops for top instructors including Skip Whitcomb, Jill Carver, G. Russell Case, Michael Lynch and Kathryn Stats.

In 2016, she was chosen to be Show Chair for the American Impressionist Society National Juried Exhibition at Howard Mandville Gallery, Kirkland, WA.

In 2018, Kathryn won an Award of Excellence at the Oil Painters of America National Exhibition and will be exhibiting at the American Impressionist Society Juried Exhibition in Door County, WI. She is the guest artist is two workshops with Lori McNee in Giverny, France and Tuscany, Italy in the Fall 2018.

Kathryn is represented by Mary Williams Fine Art, Boulder, CO.

Kathryn divides her time between Idaho and Colorado, painting, teaching, organizing workshops and, most of all, being a mom and wife to Gray, Paige, Patrick and Kirk.
