Renowned ceramic artist Tim Rowan is known for using unprocessed clay and firing his pieces in a wood-fired kiln.
The variety of colors and textures in this box derive from the natural make-up of the clay. Opening the box is like peeking into a crevasse in the earth to see its secret colors revealed only to you.
Rowan's works are seen internationally in solo and group exhibitions and in museum collections, including the Currier Art Museum in Manchester, NH, and the Fuller Craft Museum, in Brockton, MA.

This photograph is included in Cape Light, Joel Meyerowitz's first book consisting of a series of contemplative color photographs taken on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

The wine is medium bodied, with a slight greenness to its curranty, earthy flavors, and moderately astringent, bitter tannin in the finish. It is a pleasant wine that is unlikely to develop additional complexity or richness." Anticipated maturity: Now. It may be past its prime, but it has been very carefully cellared and it is, after all, a Mouton!
