Invite your friends for the French-iest dining experience in the Twin Cities! You'll be treated with three star French cuisine during this unforgettable meal. Sit back while Stéphane and a team from the Society of Amateur Chefs prepare a curated selection of legendary French recipes. Don't be fooled by their name... These chefs are a group of highly talented local gourmands. Stephane was the 2018 Grand Chef, and is current Grand Chef Emeritus!
Enjoy some of the delicacies that have solidified France as a center of the culinary world, as each course is painstakingly prepared and presented by a team of chefs in your kitchen, and perfectly paired with a wine of their choosing.
You'll indulge in two of Stephane's signature dishes, featuring duck two-ways; a pastry-topped truffle soup with duck foie gras, legendary chef Paul Bocuse's "Soupe Elysée", and Stephane's famous magret de canard, duck breast with green peppercorn sauce, porcini mushrooms and gratin dauphinois.

-A Selection of passed hors d'oeuvres with Champagne

-A dish presentation, explanation and background, by its chef

Stéphane exclusively cooks duck from Au Bon Canard, in Caledonia, Minnesota. Au Bon Canard is run by Christian Grasset, a French-transplant who has won critical acclaim for his duck farm. Their delicious duck will add to this authentic French experience.

Invite your friends, pop the champagne, and indulge in delightful appetizers from two of our favorite local French chefs, Valérie Faure and Claire Corvaisier. While you provide the guests and drinks, Valérie and Claire will create sweet and savory bites, serving 20 guests.
On the day of your event Valérie and Claire will deliver and set up your buffet.
They will also provide:
- All serving platters and verrines
- Small cocktail plates
- Cocktail napkins
- All dishes and plates will be picked up the day after the event
Taste their delicious dishes in advance by ordering a Provençal Pick-Up Menu for May 13. Each menu will include a surprise amuse bouche, a sample of one they might include with this experience.

D'argent Bakery is a home-based French micro-bakery, located in the Longfellow neighborhood in South Minneapolis. Anne D'argent offers small-batch bread and pastry subscriptions in order to provide our community with delicious and nutritious baked goods.
At the bakery, Anne uses natural leaven along with slow fermentation to make all her breads, as well as organic ancient grains and flours for their health attributes and exceptional flavor. She mills all of the grains in-house using a stone-ground mill, only hours before the bread is made. All of the country breads are made with a minimum of 30% whole grain.
Her viennoiseries, or French pastries, are hand-laminated and made from scratch using organic ingredients, natural leaven, and a small amount of commercial yeast.

Anne trained at the prestigious Paul Bocuse Institute in Lyon (France). Her culinary experience includes Spoon and Stable (Minneapolis) as their Pasta & Bread chef, and the Alliance Française of Minneapolis/St Paul where she taught cooking classes.

Bordeaux B&B Stay

Look forward to future French travels! Julien and Megan Martel welcome you to their bed and breakfast for a weekend getaway in the region of the Graves vineyards. Rouge Bordeaux B&B is an authentic Gironde manor and former parsonage dating back to the late 18th century. This experience includes a 2-night stay at Rouge Bordeaux B&B, transportation to the B&B from the train or airport station, wine and a foie gras tasting.
Renovating the manor was a Franco-Américain labor of love. The house is located in the French countryside just outside of Bordeaux. The most thoughtful hosts, Julien and Megan offer you a two-night stay any time during the week or weekend, which includes round-trip transport to and from the airport or train station. They would also like to offer you a visit to their favorite chateau in the Sauternes vineyards and followed by a foie gras tasting.
