MCCLØZKEY" noun: ( To unlock one's mind. ) I am a 21-year-old rapidly emerging artist from
Philadelphia. Working primarily with canvas, I have created many unique styles such as a
Roman Numeral Language Code where numbers represent letters that spell words. My
interpretation of the aurora borealis, dimensional brush working, and multi-mixed media
featuring iconic personalities. Art became valuable to my life when hard times added up and it
moved me forward, such as when I left college. My life goal is to impact people positively,
create art that they enjoy and to give all viewers something to relate to. Forever that.

Primarily self-taught, Charles Joyce paints representational landscapes of local urban and rural scenes in oil and acrylic, focusing on the play of light on surface. He has exhibited at galleries in Philadelphia, its suburbs, and at the Rittenhouse Square Fine Art Show, where he has been a featured artist since 2003. Two hummingbird watercolors framed in brushed nickel with a 10" x 10" white mat. Wings, tails and flowers spill out over the 5" x 5" opening. The first piece is of a pair of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds sipping and sitting in a Prairiefire Crabapple. The second piece portrays a juvenile male Rufous Hummingbird drinking from a Bluebell Bellflower. Also of note, the frames are designed with an "Easy Hang Groove" making installation a breeze.

Miriam Singer grew up in Buffalo, New York, In 2000 she received her BA in Sociology and Studio Art from Brandeis University, and in 2003 her MFA in Painting from Massachusetts College of Art. Since moving to Philadelphia in 2004, she has exhibited at numerous galleries. She is in a three-person upcoming show at Paradigms Gallery in November, 2019. Singer uses a combination of printmaking and drawing media to create her unique works on paper and designs for public art projects.

Recent public art projects include, River to River with Emilie Ledieu, 2018 a large glass mosaic in the Comcast Technology Center cafeteria.

Projects with The Philadelphia Mural Arts Program include; Navy Yard Bus Wraps, 2018, Parkway Dreams, 2017, Southeast by Southeast, 2013, Under The Clothespin with Emilie Ledieu, 2012, and Take Me to the River, 2010. Singer's accumulated imagery becomes layered and busy with impressions of the cityscape. Singer currently teaches printmaking part-time at Fleisher Art Memorial and is a member of the artist collective, Space 1026.
