This one-of-a-kind artistic piece is made of two pieces of 10 inch fused glass. The artist was commissioned by Safe Harbor to create an original piece just for the 2019 Spring Celebration. Janice Eubank is one of the premier artists located in Hoover Alabama and has a permanent piece on display within the Alabama Bicentennial Collection. The Caribbean Blue glass has properties of copper that when fused next to a sulfur-bearing glass, such as this sunflower yellow, creates a chemical reaction. This is demonstrated in the darker outline around the yellow rods. Donated by Janice Eubank.
