Forged bamboo bird bath/feeder. The bamboo, leaves and base are forged mild steel and the top is lined with recycled copper. The steel dish under the copper is an old plow disk from an Amish farm. The base and bamboo have been acid washed to rust, the leaves have been brushed and then the entire piece, excluding the copper, has then been coated with an exterior lacquer. The steel can slowly develop more rust which is part of the aging process. The copper will weather and can be polished occasionally if desired.
