Two-Shot Goose Hunt in Torrington. This coveted, invite-only, exclusive event is scheduled for December 13 and 14, 2019. Team slot is 2 people. Governor Gordon participates, as do former Governors Mead and Fredenthal along with other notables. This is an incredible weekend with socials, banquets, the hunt, sporting clays and the chance to independently goose or pheasant hunt the area. The winners of the hunt are awarded Browning Citori shotguns, fully engraved. Second and third place teams also win shotguns.

Get some air this summer! Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has been hard at work with Gravity Logic mapping, designing and building the best mountain-bike destination in the Tetons. Options abound for every level including novice trails for the uninitiated as well as eye-opening advanced trails and jump tracks. Sail over tabletops, flow around corners and then catch the Teewinot lift for a 5-minute ride back to the top.

How big are the fish in the waters surrounding Jackson Hole? Find out by sampling local stream populations with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department for a day! This "insiders look" is a fantastic chance to interact with fisheries managers and get a true sense of the places fish like to live. Past electrofishing trips have been on the Gros Ventre and Snake. Journey deep into the heart of Yellowstone's Thorofare, the most remote place in the lower 48 states, with 5 of your most adventurous friends and the Triangle X Ranch in search of Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout and witness "The Return" first hand!

Yellowstone Lake and the upper Yellowstone River and its tributaries once teemed with incredible numbers of native Yellowstone cutthroat trout and was the largest Yellowstone cutthroat fishery in the world. This magnificent spawning run of cutthroat trout, a journey of 50 miles roundtrip from Yellowstone Lake and back, was almost completely lost as the population of Yellowstone cutts in the Lake plummeted in the 1990s and 2000s due to the introduction of non-native lake trout - a tragedy for the entire Yellowstone ecosystem. In addition, tourism related to the cutthroat fishery was estimated to generate nearly $10 million a year when healthy but all but disappeared during these years. But thanks to the persistent, tireless conservation efforts of grassroots TU leaders like Dave Sweet, together with agency partners, researchers, anglers, conservationists, sportsmen and women, and outfitters from across the region and nation (as chronicled in "The Return" film by KGB Productions), efforts to restore this iconic Yellowstone cutthroat trout population are having an impact...and the fish are back.

This is your chance to experience the trip of a lifetime with 5 companions into this beautiful, wild, remote place. The Triangle X Ranch's camp is located right on the banks of the Yellowstone River in the Thorofare. You will "rough it" in style at this wilderness camp which is set up with your comfort in mind. The Triangle X's guides, wranglers and cooks are experienced, know the country and take pride in sharing their knowledge and history of the area. After a hearty dinner and relaxing evening around the fire, you will find a warm sleeping bag, soft mattress and roomy tent waiting for you. You do not need to be an expert rider to experience the trip - the Ranch's horses are well trained, strong and mountain wise. And the fish? According to Diana Sweet Miller, many fish were in the 25 inch range and most were over 20 inches!
