Welcome aboard! Learn the basics of sailing from sailing terminology, tacking, and jibing to docking and securing a boat at the Manhattan Yacht Club. Small class sizes lead to personalized attention and hands on learning. Classes offered weekdays (two consecutive days, Monday/Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.), weekends (one full weekend, Saturday/Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.), and weekday evenings (choose Monday or Thursday for 5 weeks from 6 p.m. to dusk).

Ever fly 5,000 square feet of sail? You and your guest will get the chance as you circle the Statue of Liberty in one of New York's tallest tall ship, the Clipper City. This 158' gaff-rigged schooner is massive, it just barely fits under the Brooklyn Bridge!

Enjoy a two-three hour dinner/cocktail cruise aboard the classic 28' foot Barnegat Bay Cat Boat Myth. Circa 1889, Myth is one of the oldest continuously sailed boats on the East coast. She is maintained in Bristol condition by a dedicated group of owners. Sit back and relax (or jump in sail the boat with us) with your family or guests while enjoying the beauty of Barnegat Bay and the Metedeconk River. Beer, Wine, Soft Drinks, and Lite Dinner Fare will be provided.
Meet and board Myth at the iconic Bay Head Yacht Club, located at the head of Barnegat Bay. The only requirement is that you arrive with a smile, and wear rubber soled shoes. Scheduling is flexible, from June through early September, and cruise route will be determined by wind and weather conditions. Final arrangements for this trip should be coordinated through Peter and Amanda Wright, who will serve as your Captains for the evening.
A necessity for any boat owner: two gallons of Micron Extra bottom paint in your choice of color.
