• Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with Dr. Gladys for up to 8 people.
• Gorilla tracking permits for 2 people. We can help you secure up to 6 more permits at your own expense.
• A tour and lecture at the Gorilla Health and Community Conservation Centre for your whole group where you will learn about gorilla health monitoring, community health, and how CTPH works with the Bwindi local community, which is essential to prevent diseases being transmitted between people and gorillas.
• Coffee safari with Gorilla Conservation Coffee.

Notes:

• You must be 15 years or older to receive a gorilla tracking permit.
• April, May and November are the best months to go because it is the least crowded and easiest time to get a permit, but we can work to arrange your experience at any time.
• Lodging not included. You may book to stay at the guest rooms at the CTPH camp or a nearby resort lodge. We are happy to provide suggestions.
• AeroLink has daily flights between Entebbe and Kihihi airstrip near the CTPH camp.

In the legacy of the late Dian Fossey, Dr. Gladys Kalema-Zikusoka has become one of the leading conservationists and scientists working to save the critically endangered mountain gorillas of East Africa. She is founder and Chief Executive Officer of Conservation Through Public Health (CTPH), a 14-year old nonprofit organization that promotes conservation by improving the quality of life of people and wildlife to enable them to coexist in and around protected areas in Africa. She became an Ashoka Fellow in 2007 for merging Uganda's wildlife management and rural public health programs to create common resources for both people and animals.

Gorilla Conservation Coffee (GCCoffee) is a social enterprise created through a partnership between CTPH and Worldwide Fund for Nature Switzerland. GCCoffee pays a premium price to enable marginalized small-holder coffee farmers living in remote sub counties bordering Bwindi Impenetrable National Park improve their lives, which in turn helps to protect the gorillas and their habitat.
