About the Artist

Elaine Lisle is a Philadelphia artist who has been exhibited widely in the mid-atlantc region as well as in New York City and London. She received and BA in Fine Arts at the University of Pennsylvania and completed post-graduate study at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Her paintings can be found in numerous private and corporate collections, including The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, Lankenau Hospital, PECO, and Philadelphia Newspapers Inc.

She is represented by the Gross McCleaf Gallery in Philadelphia as well as other galleries on the East coast. She has won several awards in local and National juried exhibitions including a Best in Show award at the Philadelphia Sketch Club (2017) and the Jenkins arboretum (2016) . She has participated in numerous plein air competitions including Plein Air Easton 2014 (Honorable mention) and 2018 as well as Paint Annapolis 2015 (First place nocturne)

She was recently featured in Fine Art Connoisseur magazine (March/April 2019) and was also featured in American Art Collector Magazine in 2016 and International Artist Magazine in 2014. She is on the faculty of the Main Line Art Center in Haverford PA and the Wayne Art Center and has led painting workshops locally as well as in Southern France.
