Description: Protest Puppet is a wooden puppet character with base and two prop sign pieces. The puppet is hand crafted by Tom Sarver and is modeled after the puppets that Sarver uses in performance and has interactive components (movable arm and interchangeable parts). It can be handled delicately, but is not recommended for use as a children's toy.
About the artist, Tom Sarver: Tom Sarver is a Pittsburgh-based artist working in site-specific installation, public art events and puppetry. His works, often happening outside of traditional art venues, explore social issues and interactions. These include Art Olympics, Sarver's Bait & Tackle, Puppet Happening, The Tom Museum, and Cooking With Sticks.
