Winner will also receive a counseling package from Julie Simon. College counselor Julie Simon has spent as many years working in university administration as most of her students have been alive, making her the perfect person to guide high schoolers through the complexities of filling out the Common App, writing supplemental essays that stand out, and knowing exactly what to say in that conversation with an admissions officer. Julie will provide assistance with four college applications including: Strategizing the best approach to early admissions programs to maximize the chance for admission. Brainstorming all application essays and short answers to produce the most genuine and strongest possible essays Regularly scheduled meetings online using Zoom conferencing to review the student's progress and access to counselor via email and phone between meetings. Access to Custom College Plan, an online project management system that allows counselors and students to organize and manage the college application process.

Student must be a high school sophomore or junior in this academic year (2018/2109) and applying to college in Fall of 2019 or 2020. Advising occurs online only and cannot exceed 10 hours.
