Stefan says he has a profound love of trees and birds, but is willing to be pulled away to try dancing. Born and raised in Lander, Stefan is the CWC groundskeeper in Riverton. Glad that he gets to work outside, Stefan spends his free time there too while hunting and fishing.
Stefan's paired with Cat, who loves hiking and cross country skiing with their dog. Cat grew up in the Bay Area and is an operations coordinator for The Nature Conservancy. Both of them are kept busy with their two kids Finnian and Iris.
For the past 18 years Kenna's been holding the reins at CWC from the Equine Center to the Arts & Sciences Division. She's also known for doing the same with her horses riding dressage and jumping. Raised in Sinclair, she likes to downhill ski and always keeps an eye out for opportunities to get on the dance floor with Michael.
Born in Baltimore, Michael has called Riverton home for over 40 years. Michael has his own business as a dental technician. When he's not helping create beautiful smiles, he can be found on a sailboat, playing his guitar and carrying a tune. He loves to dance & hopes he can help to make sure Jenna walks home with a trophy.
Eric Murphy
Riverton Police Chief Eric Murphy has been in town for the past 19 years. Since then he's gotten married to Gwen and now has 3 sons. The whole family trains horses as well a doing martial arts. Let's hope he doesn't try any of that on Candace! He says he never takes himself too seriously and loves to laugh so we'll see how he can handle being on the stage with a pro.
Candace Jevne
A Riverton native, Candace enjoys seeing the rest of the world too. Her 3 children keep her hustling to watch them play sports and riding their horses. And on top of that, Candace has her own business. 7 years ago she started Motion Bliss Dance Academy. That might not seem fair to the rest of the teams, but Eric is a very challenging student!
Blake Herbst
You can usually find Blake stacking 2X4 s or weighing a bag full of nails since he's the manager of Bloedorn Lumber. Blake moved to Lander 3 years ago and when he's not selling saws he's often catching fresh powder on his snowboard. He's not too sure whether he can help Anne win, but is willing to try for CES. Thanks Blake!!!
Anne Slovisky
A Lander local, Anne enrolled in West Elementary in early '90's. After winning the Irish jig contest in 4th grade, Anne found herself between a rock and a hard place. She denied obvious talents and followed her instincts to complete her early education in Lander and eventually earned a BS in Forestry from the University of Montana. Dancing always in the back of her mind, Anne again chose other paths and has found great joy in starting a cake business and learning floral design at Special Arrangements. Can't wait to see what she can bring to the Star-studded stage!
Celeste LeBlanc
A Louisiana native, Celeste decided to brave the cold and moved to Lander 10 years ago. Mother to 2 school age daughters, Celeste always has a dance partner in the house- sometimes more than 1! Celeste is an occupational health nurse at SageWest, which keeps her on her dancing toes plenty during the day.
Nico Dabatos
An immigrant from New York, Nico is a traveling Physical Therapist. We're glad he slowed down enough to travel on to the dance floor. It was Yellowstone that first brought him West, but the Wind Rivers (and Celeste!) that's keeping him around now. A huge lover of music and dance, he surely has a few tricks up his sleeve to help them slide right into 1st place.
You'll find Joanna, a Game & Fish aquatic habitat biologist, studying stream banks. When she's not counting willows or pebbles, she's training her 2 dogs, and even trying out skijoring with her husky. She learned how to dance while living in West Africa, so might be looking at the Lion King musical for tips.
Mike is a stream biologist at DEQ and migrated to Lander from Wisconsin. A top-notch hockey player, Mike is quick on skates (although the kids he coaches are learning to be even quicker). He also uses zumba dancing as cross-training for rugby! Wonder if he can dance as fast as he skates or runs!
Jonathan & Emily have been in Lander for 10 years, fleeing the crowds of Los Angeles. When they're not teaching they're tackling raising 4 kids, with the oldest being 6. That's one reason they've been able to rope her sister and his parents into also migrating to Lander.
Wyoming Catholic College's executive vice president, Jonathan is the first from the College to brave the dance floor. He sure deserves lots of cheers and votes from all the students, faculty, and staff. He has a head start on any of them since Emily is a ballet teacher. Doesn't seem fair to the other teams, but no worries. We've had other pros on the floor and not one has ever won the competition!
