Gabriella Szalay, Fellow at the Busch-Reisinger Museum, provides a guided tour for non-specialists of the Busch-Reisinger Museum galleries.

Have you ever felt like you SHOULD go to the art museum, but were intimidated because you just didn't know anything about it? Relax! This tour is suitable for all ages and levels of art knowledge--Gabriella can easily adapt to the group and gladly answers questions along the way. So bring your family, your friends, and your out-of-town visitors.

Tour includes 4 adults passes. Children under 18 are free. We can accommodate a group of 8. Tour is in English, but Gabriella is happy to answer questions and converse with participants in German.

About Gabriella Szalay:

Gabriella Szalay is the Renke B. and Pamela M. Thye Fellow in the Busch-Reisinger Museum, Harvard Art Museums. Her research focuses on the materials and techniques used by artists and artisans to make the kind of incredible objects that you will see on your tour. She has taught at numerous post-secondary institutions, most recently the University of Göttingen, and worked as a Museum Educator at the Vancouver Art Gallery. About the Harvard Art Musuems:
