Healing on the Fly Northern VA

It is our pleasure to announce that Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. (PHWFF) is holding its inaugural Healing on the Fly Northern Virginia, on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at the Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, VA. This exciting fundraising event will strengthen PHWFF's efforts to reach disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans in the National Capital region and throughout the United States.

Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. (PHWFF) is dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans through fly fishing and associated activities including education and outings. Activities are provided free of charge to all participants. What began in 2005 as a single program at Walter Reed Army Medical Center now exceeds 200 programs (19 programs in the Virginia and National Capital regions) led by more than 3,600 volunteers.

We currently serve 8,400 disabled active military personnel and disabled veterans in our nationwide programs. Our 2019 goal is to serve an additional 1,200 participants and enable their emotional and physical recovery. Our cause is unique in that we provide on-going, long-term support as our Nation's disabled veterans continue their journeys to recovery.
