Outdoor sculpture by Carole Eisner
MANDARIN, 1983, 62"h X 77"w X 26"d
Renowned and award-winning artist Carole Eisner has worked with recycled metals for over 40 years creating elegant, abstract forms welded in steel that adorn many local and international collections. Eisner's sculptures are meant to reflect the surprising malleability of metal--she works with "the debris of our civilization," reclaiming and reassembling disregarded fragments of buildings and bridges into unique pieces of art.
Carole's work has been displayed throughout the country and internationally in high end homes, office buildings, and parks including Brooklyn's Prospect Park as well as arts centers throughout Fairfield County. Some of her international features include Château de Fontaine-Henry in Clavados, France; Institute of Contemporary Art in London, UK; and Galerie Valerie Bach in Brussels, Belgium.
Restrictions: Sculpture to be picked up within one month of Gala. Winner must make their own arrangements for pick up.
