If you purchase one of only 100 Golden Tickets, you will be in a drawing to win one of the Live Auction items before the bidding even starts. You must be present at the auction or indicate below what live auction item you want. Call the Council Service Center at 818-243-6282 to notify the council. If your choice of item can not be determined upon drawing, a different winner will be drawn.
Why should I provide an email for ticket purchases?
We are 100% committed to the flawless execution of your event. By capturing email addresses during ticket purchase, your guests will receive immediate notification that a ticket has been purchased for them. The email contains pertinent event information which the guest can refer to up to the day of the event and can be used at tax time as a receipt for tax purposes.
The Big Strike Auction is the Verdugo Hills Council's largest annual fundraising event. 2019 marks the 44th annual Big Strike Auction, but it is also the kickoff to our celebration of Verdugo Hills Council's 100th Anniversary Year. The theme in 2019 is Boots and BBQ, chosen as a fun way to celebrate the impact that your support has had on the youth we have served over the last 100 years.
