Custom Portrait by Zeke Gremillion

Looking for a unique gift or one-of-a-kind piece of art for your home, look no further. Our AP Fine Arts students will create a custom portrait for you based on a photo of your choosing.

How It Works: The winning bidder will provide Zeke with a photograph (maximum of two faces) before Friday, May 31, 2019. The winner and Zeke will determine together the best medium and size for the portrait (maximum canvas size 24x36). Zeke will deliver the completed portrait to Pacifica by June 30, 2019, and the winner may pick it up at the Front Office anytime during summer office hours.

Artist Bio: Zeke is an 18 year old, classically trained fine artist. He currently studies with former fine art professor at Laguna College of Art and Design, George Geisler, as well as participates in the elective fine arts program at Pacifica. He has been drawing his whole life, but in the past 4-5 years has begun to really take his art seriously, and for the past 1-2 years has been greatly enjoying oil painting. He wishes to continue making art through university, and then into his career. His media of choice are oil paints and graphite. While he enjoys painting many disciplines, he specializes in portraits. Zeke has shown his work at the student art galleries held by the Pacifica Arts department, as well as creating live artworks at events. Some of his favorite artists include Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh, J.M.W. Turner, Katsushika Hokusai, Mark Rothko, and Piet Mondrian. Someday he hopes to have the platform to share his work as these iconic artists did.
