This red and bright colored planets flannel blanket was made by a parent and the back is embellished with child sewn buttons, pockets, child hand stitching and a floppy fleece bunny that the children of Ms Aislinn's room helped create. Measures 26x33 inches.

• 5 fabric donators
• 6 sewing machines
• a few friends who answer endless design questions
• and a willingness to jump in and try!

The girl scouts sewed together many of the strips that make up the blocks. A few of those strips were cut from fabric they drew on. This was the first time at a sewing machine for many of them. We had a multi-generational team of volunteers, including three sets of grandmothers. The result is an instantly charming, vintage-feel, imperfectly perfect quilt. It's an instant treasure!

This table was made by a grandparent and painted by Ms Winllebleck's classroom. The top is painted with chalk paint - and the item comes with a box of chalk. this is the cutest!
